PAUL CASEY

Loves the course and has not finished out of top six in last three years, so must be on each-way shortlists.

A first PGA Tour win for nine years in Tampa last month was a real lift for his confidence.

JASON DAY

No health issues at the moment and a lot to admire about the former world No 1’s win at Torrey Pines in January.

Aussie has finished second and third at Augusta and his deadly short game will be a potent weapon.

MATT KUCHAR

Not had a significant win for four years but almost put that right with a stirring display at last year’s Open.

Tied fourth here last year and also enjoyed third, fifth and eighth-placed finishes in his last five visits.

CAMERON SMITH

Rookies do not win at Augusta — but records are made to be broken and this brash Aussie, 24, will not shy away from being part of Masters history.

He caught the eye at last month’s Dell World Match Play.

JORDAN SPIETH

His 30-footer for par on the final hole in Texas last week was a ‘Boom, I’m back’ moment.

A win and two seconds in his first three outings at Augusta before ‘shame’ of 11th place last year. Will not finish that low again.
