JORDAN SPIETH will have longtime caddy Michael Greller on the bag at the Ryder Cup.
The pair struck up their relationship purely by chance in 2011.
Since then Spieth has gone onto achieve superstar status in the game.
He has three Majors to his name and is still only 25.
Who is Jordan Spieth’s caddy Michael Greller?
Greller was working as a maths teacher in secondary school when he first caddied for Spieth – who was recommended to him by Spieth’s close friend and fellow top golfer Justin Thomas.
The 2011 US Junior Amateur was being played at Gold Mountain Golf Club near Seattle, US.
Greller recalled how he gave Spieth the wrong yardage on the very first hole he caddied for him.

But the pair got on well together with Spieth winning the tournament. When Spieth got into the US Open the next year he wanted Greller on the bag again.
By this time Spieth, from Texas, was the No 1 amateur golfer in the world and his newfound buddy took the job on a permanent basis from that moment onwards.
What tournaments have Jordan Spieth and Michael Greller won together?
Greller has been one of the bag for every one of Spieth’s 14 professional wins.
That includes three Majors, including the 2015 Masters and US Open and 2017 Open. Spieth also finished runner-up in the 2015 US PGA Championship.
Greller is credited with giving Spieth the “most critical yardage in history”, according to Phil Mickelson’s former caddie Jim ‘Bones’ Mackay.
That came during the 2017 Open final round when Spieth hit his drive miles right onto the driving range.
The player thought he needed to hit the shot 270 yards to the green but the caddy told him he needed to go 230.
Spieth went with Greller, made a good bogey and went onto win his first Claret Jug.
